IT Project Management Office (PMO)
JOB PURPOSE
1. Oversees all aspects of the organisation's digital transformation and strategic projects including administration, planning, negotiating, monitoring, coordinating, governance, documentation and control.
2. Responsible for supporting project in using a common set of best practices, templates and platform for managing, tracking and reporting projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To assist the project in tracking project status of deliverables and milestones, issue coordination, planning, reporting, and coordinating activities to achieve quality objectives.
2. Monitor the project budget utilisation for delivering the project within the allocated budget.
3. Continuously report project status to the immediate superior weekly and stakeholder on periodic basis.
4. Compile issues and challenges of projects, highlight to the project team for resolution and for consolidation / escalation to Steering Committee for directions.
5. Assist the project in coordinating with all relevant project team in terms of requirement gathering, development, testing, implementation plan and post deployment activities.
6. Ensure project related documents are compiled accordingly.
7. Perform any other task as and when requested by supervisor / management.
WORKING EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum 5 years in project management (preferably in Financial Service/Banking Institution industry)
2. Possess good understanding of both project management and system development process.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
2. Project Management qualifications are preferred, but not essential
3. Has the capability of managing, leadership, communication, negotiation, problem solving skills, multitasking, among others
4. Good business knowledge and understanding of SDLC methodologies
5. Good decision-making with fairly leadership skills
6. A good team player and can adjust well with the organisation's culture and values.
7. A fast learner and can align to organisation's directions.
