**Job Description**:

- Job Summary:
As a supervisor in a basic elderly care center, your primary responsibility is to provide essential healthcare support and assistance to elderly residents and oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring the well-being and comfort of elderly residents. You will lead and support the staff in delivering high-quality care and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist elderly residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
2. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and document the administration.
3. Monitor and record vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
4. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, addressing their social and psychological needs
5. Engage in friendly conversations and activities to promote a positive environment.
6. Maintain accurate and organized resident records, including care plans and medication logs.
7. Interact with family members, providing updates on residents' well-being.
8. Follow safety protocols to ensure residents' safety and well-being.
9. Be prepared to respond to emergencies and provide basic first aid when necessary.
10. Supervise and coordinate the work of care giving and support staff
11. Ensure that staff members adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines related to resident care and facility operations.
12. Monitor the quality of care provided to elderly residents to ensure their needs are met.
13. Address resident concerns and work to maintain a high standard of care.
14. Manage the day-to-day operations of the care center, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
15. Ensure that the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Qualification
1. Active nursing license (for nurses) or prior nursing experience (for retired nurses).
2. Compassion, patience, and a strong desire to work with the elderly population.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Knowledge of elderly care best practices and healthcare protocols.
5. Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
6. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and assist residents with mobility.
7. Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
