**Job Overview**

Mechanic responsible to providing maintenance and breakdown cover of sewing machinery.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. To conduct preventive maintenance to sewing machine and equipment such as hanger system in order to increase the efficiency of the production.

2. Carry out fault finding and diagnostic checks on machine and ensuring any repairs are addressed promptly.

3. To monitor all tools and spare parts for provide technical support to subcon workplace.

4. To manage and solve both scheduled and unscheduled work orders.

5. To monitor machine/equipment operational performance and condition.

6. To sustain and maintain machines to perform corrective maintenance.

7. Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and carry out fault finding and investigation techniques.

8. Responsible to ensure proper maintenance of company and dormitory facilities to enhance safety and efficiency.

9. Ensure all fixtures in the company and dormitory is in functional and proper order.

10. Responsible for management of tools, equipment and asset registered / stored in warehouse.

11. Responsible to ensure sufficient supply of basic utilities supply.

12. Assist the admin officer to execute the transfer and removal of manpower asset or facilities.

13. Provide a safe working environment, adhering to health, safety and environmental procedures and ensuring they are understand and practiced by the team at all times.

14. Ensure that all relevant procedures and processes are followed and adhered to in line with the company’s procedures and requirements.

15. Prioritize workload to meet project, department and company deadlines.

16. Perform other related responsibilities or ac hoc duties as required by superior.

**Academic Qualification**

1. At least Professional Certificate in Sewing Machinery or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering equivalent.

**Skills and Experiences Required**

1. 1 years’ experience in related field.

2. Able to work under pressure.

3. Initiative and self-motivated.

4. With good mechanical sense and preventive thinking mindset.

5. Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia preferably in English and Mandarin.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
