We are looking for a hungry and enthusiastic IT intern, so if you’re hungry to learn, and have a passion for Technology Development - we want you At Primary Guard, you’ll be treated as a full member of the team and get hands-on experience working. Primary Guard is an IT & Cybersecurity Consulting Service company that provides innovative IT solutions and new computing technologies that help minimize the impact of cyber threats, improve business efficiency & maintain essential functions during or after a disaster occurs. Also, **Primary Guard** is a subsidiary company of **Forest Interactive Sdn Bhd**.
- Assist the cybersecurity team in implementing and maintaining security controls in Cloudflare, AWS, CrowdStrike, and Elastic environments.
- Monitor and analyze logs, alerts, and reports to identify security incidents or threats.
- Work with the team to develop and improve security policies, procedures, and guidelines for cloud security.
- Conduct research on emerging threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies related to cloud security and endpoint protection.
- Use security information and event management (SIEM) tools to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Any other duties or projects assigned by the supervisor.

**Job Requirement**:

- Knowledge of Cloudflare, AWS, CrowdStrike, and/or Elastic security principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with network security protocols, tools, and technologies.
- Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools, such Nessus, Metasploit, or Burp Suite.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills (Google & ChatGPT skills)
- Duration of three (3) months, preferably six (6) months and above.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- CGPA: 3.0 and above.

**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 3-6 months

**Salary**: RM800.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Cyberjaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
