About the Role

Responsible for the intercompany closing by ensuring intercompany billing and invoices being processed and captured in accounting system accurately and timely on monthly basis

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the intercompany closing by ensuring intercompany billing and invoices being processed and captured in accounting system accurately and timely on monthly basis.

2. Prepare intercompany reports and perform analytical review and analysis on intercompany transactions and balances against approved budget and comparable periods.

3. Responsible for coordinating, developing and preparing monthly/quarterly management reports for presentation to senior management and Board.

4. Follow up with intercompany regarding the settlement and perform intercompany settlement on timely basis.

5. Work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders to resolve intercompany reconciling items within month-end reporting timeline

6. Continuous process improvement opportunities and implements related automation within intercompany process.

7. Support external audit by ensuring timely and quality delivery of items requested by the external auditors.

8. Provide support on ad-hoc request/analysis/UAT from management and other stakeholders.

Minimum Job Requirements:

- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accountancy qualifications.
- Minimum 5 years relevant working experience. Intercompany experience is (preferred).
- Experience working in Financial Services / Insurance will be an added advantage.
- Computer literate with good proficiency in MS Wors, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and SAP are added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and possess good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with various stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
