Position **:Laboratory Technician**

**Laboratory Technician Job Responsibilities**
- Perform routine and non-routine tests and analyses using the appropriate technical equipment and instruments under Chemist supervision & instruction
- Collect, receive & process samples for analysis
- Calculate test results, and compile technical reports
- Perform quality control and calibrate equipment if necessary
- Maintain equipment in proper working order and maintain a clean work area
- Washing of all glassware used at the lab, ensure good house keeping
- Ensure proper chemical waste disposal
- Practice safe work habits, including complying with all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations
- Assist Chemist in any other work-related tasks
- Site sampling job when required.
**Qualifications for Lab Technician**
- Diploma in Science (Chemistry) or Bachelor's degree in Science (Chemistry) field preferred
- Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
- Computer skills: knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant computer programs
- Analytical and numerical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to compile & write reports
- Excellent organizational skills
