The Person-In-Charge Doctor (PIC) is typically responsible for the overall management and supervision of the clinic's medical services. Some of the key roles and responsibilities of a PIC doctor in a general practice clinic may include:
Clinical Leadership: The PIC doctor is responsible for providing clinical leadership to the medical team, ensuring that all medical staff are providing high-quality care to patients. They must ensure that all medical procedures, treatments and consultations are in compliance with local and national standards, and that they are updated on the latest medical practices and techniques.

Patient Care: As the primary medical practitioner in the clinic, the PIC doctor must ensure that patients receive the highest quality care, and that they are treated with empathy, respect, and dignity. This may involve diagnosing and treating medical conditions, managing chronic illnesses, providing preventative care, and making referrals to specialists when necessary.

Management and Administration: The PIC doctor is also responsible for the overall management and administration of the clinic, which includes managing staff, overseeing budgets, ordering medical supplies, and maintaining patient records. They must also ensure that the clinic is in compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures.

Communication and Collaboration: The PIC doctor must communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals, patients, and their families, and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders. They must work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
