**WE ARE LOOKING FOR.....**The role supports the Associate Director of Quality Engineering Assurance in planning, monitoring and managing the testing activities and operations infused in the projects based on AIA's Enterprise Testing Model framework.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- This role will work closely with the AIA Business Units, Vendors and Product teams to drive quality testing and ensure conformance of quality standards based on the Enterprise Technology Framework.
- The role needs to lead and manage the testing processes and procedures, test case design, test execution, capturing test results and analysis, defect management, traceability matrix and test reporting.
- The role supports the Associate Director of Quality Engineering Assurance in planning, monitoring and managing the testing activities and operations infused in the projects based on AIA's Enterprise Testing Model framework.

**Responsibilities**:
A)Process

1.Planning
- Develop, explain and lead the overall Test Strategy & Test Plan for AIA Bhd.'s system implementation projects.
- Work with the Project Managers to define the testing scope, budget, timeline & resources.
- Review the scope of testing and test scenarios based on the project's agreed project methodology and approach as defined in the Test Strategy.
- Continuous improvement of the testing methodology.
- Carry out tasks in accordance with the Enterprise Testing Model framework which includes establishing and tracking quality assurance metrics.
- Perform Test kick-off meetings with the testing teams involved to discuss the scope of the phases/project sprints, chart out testing process steps and identify resource requirements.
- Identify Lessons Learned / Retrospective together with Best Practices and share it on the common knowledge repository. This is to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to avoid similar issues in the next release.

2.Execution
- Participate in planning (E.g. to identify key test types, testing stakeholders, tools and environment requirements) and other sessions (E.g. an agile scrum team environment, by updating the team on progress, advise of roadblocks, and collaborate with multiple team members as appropriate).
- Accountable for ensuring the reasonableness of the developer's code testing (unit test), ensure proper review and sign-off by the right parties.
- Review the completeness and quality of the end-to-end test scripts development ensuring it meets the business and technical requirements.
- Accountable for the execution of the test scripts and the accurate documentation of the test results.
- Oversee the defects logging, re-testing & closure of defects in JIRA. Ensuring the root cause analysis is identified and recorded in the tracking system.
- Propose and provide rationale for test scripts that should be automated.
- Implement processes to update the automated test scripts.
- Develop the business cases for test automation
- Cover testers' responsibilities if necessary
- Responsible for the timely completion of quality testing within the project timeline and free from defects and meeting the company's standards and procedures.
- Building and maintaining the documentation on testing process, to ensure the reusability and compliance with standards.
- Timely communication to project team of any impediments/risks for better mitigation plan
- Manage vendor delivery for Performance Testing or any other nonfunctional testing delivery (if required). To also keep track of such deliveries for the final reporting before production release.

3.Environment Setup
- Plan and work with IT to design and populate the test environments with the right test data
- Liaise with IT to shake down the Test environments before the start of testing.

4.Reporting
- Provide timely reports to the project managers and project stakeholders on testing progress, issues faced, etc.
- Report Test Status and Risk Management by conducting Test Status meeting with stakeholders to update the test progress, risks and issues on an ad-hoc, daily, weekly and monthly basis as per the project requirements.
- Provide dashboards on all testing progress and metrices.

B)People
- Provide Leadership and Insight into Testing, by participating in efforts to share testing knowledge and expertise within the company
- Manage the daily workload of testing and provide direction on test activities.
- Manage the internal and external team of testers
- Allocate and assign the right workload to the testing team
- Mentor and train the testing team on testing methodology (including test approach, test policy), tools, process and technique. As well as business knowledge (as required)
- Provide guidance to the project resources on applicable use of the testing methodology.
