Plant Buyer

**Key responsibilities**

1. Business Plan fulfillment of plant assigned.

2. Optimization of local supplier base in the plant.

3. Fulfilment of group directives and local law.

4. Implement global commodity strategy in the plant, adapt commodity strategy to local needs.

5. Implement and execution of systems and processes efficiency.

6. First point of contact for local management of the plant

7. Analyze, challenge and consolidate the stakeholder’s needs.

8. Regularly provide purchasing volume, or other NPM reports upon requests.

9. Communication with local management and x-functions in the plant

10. Request for quotations (RFQ) and select suppliers according to requisitions.

11. Negotiation on price and T&Cs; contracting and implementation.

12. Ensure security of supply to support operations of the plant and optimize cost & service to get competitive advantage and customer satisfaction.

**Working experience - **2+years related experience in Purchasing, Operations or Project Management

**Education - **University or above

**Language** - English is required, mandarin as advantage

Computer Proficiency in MS Office software

3. Quick learning capability, and able to be quick and efficient to solve problems

4. Good management skill and ability of decision-making

5. Highly responsibilities, honestly, teamwork spirit

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Purchasing: 2 years (preferred)
- Plant Buyer: 2 years (preferred)
- Supply chain management: 2 years (required)
- Data analysis skills: 2 years (preferred)
- Automotive Industry: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (preferred)
