As a Hotel Maintenance Technician & Handyman, you will provide general maintenance of the property including but not limited to, repairs throughout the hotel's interior (guestrooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobby, restaurant etc) and exterior.
You will maintain hotel's appearance and equipment operating according to the hotel standards.
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Paint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalks etc.)
- Undertake light installation or carpenting
- Repair equipment or appliances
- Assist tradespeople
- Conduct daily inspection routine on all M&E equipment
- Install, replace or repair equipment that has been damaged -with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance work and regular checks on facilities (e.g. lightings/wirings, lifts, air-conditioners, electrical appliances, etc) ensure compliance to building and statutory requirements.
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
Qualifications and Requirements
- Those without relevant qualifications but with 1 years or more relevant experience will be considered
- Applicants must be willing to work in Hotel Maluri, Kuala Lumpur.
- Contract basis.
- Responsible, alert, willing to learn, good interpersonal skills and good working attitude.
- Able to work independently and in a work team
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
