Internship for Accounting

**About Us**:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team and contribute to our financial operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As an Accounting Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various accounting functions and develop essential skills. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Financial Recordkeeping**: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- **Invoice Processing**: Support the processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payment to vendors and suppliers.
- **Data Entry**: Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- **Expense Tracking**: Help track and record company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- **Monthly Closures**: Assist in month-end and year-end financial close processes, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
- **Financial Reporting**: Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, statements, and analyses for management review.
- **Audit Support**: Assist in gathering and organizing documentation for internal and external audits.
- **Compliance**: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- **Other Duties**: Perform other related tasks and projects as assigned to support the overall goals of the finance department.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
