We are looking for an experienced EAL Teacher to join our International Primary school and lead our EAL class to the next level of learning. You will need to be passionate about learning and passionate about developing as a teacher. You will have at least 2 years experience as an EAL Teacher. You must be good at working with and, inspiring your colleagues, our students, and their parents.

The start date for this role is August 2023. It would not be suitable for NQTs.

We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary, and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE, and A Level) and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The Role

We are looking for someone who:

- Puts children at the heart of everything they do.
- Is an outstanding EAL practitioner (UK QTS or equivalent).
- Has experience in planning and teaching for the EAL classroom
- Models a positive and learning-focused environment in their own classroom.
- Has at least 2 years of experience in delivering high-quality teaching and learning for all pupils.
- Is an inspiring teacher with a proven track record in making students better.
- Is able to prioritise and delegate effectively.
- Is a strong communicator, who is personable, caring, and passionate with high expectations of themselves and others.
- Is committed to getting better through continued professional development and excited about working with others to get better too
- Can build a positive relationship with staff, students and parents.
