Safety Officer

**JOB DESCRIPTIONS**:

- Implement & monitor safety procedures and practices on construction site to ensure compliance with relevant regulations to promote a safety working environment.
- Identify & mitigate potential hazards and risks, preventing accidents, & ensure the overall well-being of workers and visitors at the construction site.
- Investigate & report on any accidents, incidents, or near misses that occur on the construction site. Prepare incident report and recommend corrective action to prevent similar incidents in the future.
- Ensure the availability, proper maintenance & correct usage of safety equipment & tools including PPE, fire extinguishers, first aid kits & etc.
- Conduct regular meetings with site personnel, management, and contractors to address safety-related issues, communicate updates & reinforce safety protocols.
- Collaborate with relevant authorities & conduct periodic safety inspections to ensure the construction site meets all safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and safety-related document.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:

- **With At Least Yellow Book Holder**:

- Minimum with 1 year’s related experience.
- Familiar with local safety regulations and construction industry best practices
- Detailed oriented with strong analytical skills, integrity, self-motivated with high degree of commitment to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin will be added advantages)
- Flexible to travel
