**Key responsibilities include**:

- A comprehensive understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Stay up-to-date with the latest accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Review and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure adherence to accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Monitor and interpret changes in accounting regulations and assess their impact on financial reporting and disclosure requirements.
- Conduct regular internal audits and reviews to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Partner with tax advisers to optimize effective tax rates and implement strategies for tax efficiency.
- Execute miscellaneous tax-related projects as assigned.
- Previous work experience in the audit field at a prominent accounting firm.
