Chemist

To organise, execute, coordinate, supervise and monitor daily laboratory operations.
- Establish product specifications and procedures for QAQC for new or updated products.
- To carry out chemical analysis based on standard test procedure, to review the standard test procedure when necessary.
- To ensure the reliability and accuracy of analytical results and carry out quality control procedures.
- To prepare, organize or take part in proficiency testing and report the results with recommendations to upgrade the skills of the lab technicians.
- Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents for laboratory personnel to conduct test.
- To ensure operation and safety of the laboratory
- To develop new testing methodology
- To assist in investigation of customer complaint
- Develop/calculate/test improved formulations for current products when needed.
- Reviews and/or completes appropriate forms and documentation regarding research and development processes, tasks, results, and conclusions; draws conclusions and receives direction when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENT**
- Complete bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Chemical Science or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Laboratory and specification analysis.
- Preferably in an edible oil, margarine, shortening production company or similar.
- Experience with ISO Standard such as ISO9001/ISO22000 and documentation is preferable.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
