**Freelance HR & Finance Specialist**

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide HR and finance support on a freelance or part time basis. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, ensuring accurate and efficient payroll processing, maintaining up-to-date financial records, and supporting various HR functions.

**Responsibilities**:

- **HR**:

- Process monthly payroll for direct labor, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions based on company policies, employment contracts, and applicable laws.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, including withholding and remittance.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
- Address direct labor inquiries and concerns regarding payroll matters promptly and professionally.
- Assist with payroll audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of payroll transactions and payroll files.
- Handle HR matters related to payroll, annual leave, and medical leave (if applicable).
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all employee and freelancer records.

**Finance**:

- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations (full or partial set of accounts).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Support the finance team with:

- Ensuring timely approval and payment of supplier invoices
- Timely disbursement of staff claims.
- Timely closure of monthly and year-end accounting records.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors during audits.
- Ensure proper data storage and document filing.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the management team.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.

**Compensation**:

- **Pro-rated monthly** compensation based on the market monthly rate for similar positions and the number of hours worked per month.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
