1.1 Reports for duty and attends briefing punctually, wearing the correct uniform and nametag at all times. 1.2 Maintains a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times. 1.3 Greets the guests at the main entrance offering the greeting appropriate for the time of the day. 1.4 Has a complete understanding of the Hotel’s employee handbook and adhere to the regulations contained with. 1.5 Delivers messages speedily and completes all errands as instructed. 1.6 Assists the Doorman with the handling of guests on arrival as instructed. 1.7 Handles the delivery collection and the storage of all guests luggage efficiently. 1.8 Delivers all mail, messages and newspapers promptly. 1.9 Provides a continual coverage of the main entrance and front services area. 1.10 Is fully conversant with all aspects of the city / area and its attractions and has full knowledge of the Hotel’s facilities including all F&B outlets, operational hours in order to be able to recommend them to guest. 1.11 Maintains good working relationships with his own colleagues, and all other departments. 1.12 Attempts to remember and to learn the names of guests and shall in any event make it his business to greet guests as they come into the lobby. 1.13 Is always alert to situations where he can be of assistance courteously, willingly and helpfully and should not wait for any tip after serving a guest. 1.14 Ensures all luggage is correctly labeled and stored. 1.15 Reports to the Bell Captain or Guest Service Manager of any unusual happening or incident. 1.16 Ensures luggage storeroom is kept clean, tidy and organized at all times. 1.17 Is able to answer guest’s question as to what to do and where to go. 1.18 Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned by the Bell Captain or above management.
