**About the role**:
Work Location: 1 Powerhouse, Selangor Malaysia
Reporting To: Regulatory Manager

To work in partnership with Kerry Regulatory & Scientific Affairs team to provide regulatory information in a fast, accurate, consistent, and efficient manner while engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support the business.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Ensure product and material compliance to local APMEA regulations and Kerry policies.
- Supports internal / external stakeholders across the region by providing standard technical information.
- Create and maintain regulatory documents.
- Liaise with RD&A, QA and Operations counterparts for technical documentation reviews.
- Engage with customers to facilitate business process and enhance customer experience.
- Business partner with RDA on new developments / innovation.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of food regulations across APMEA region.
- Keep abreast with regulation updates, review draft regulations, and engage with government/regulatory trade associations as required.
- Understand & share best practice / trends / regulation changes & insights internally (i.e. knowledge sharing across the business).
- Manage emerging issues (i.e. be the point of contact to internal stakeholders as required).
- Provide support when required during external audits (e.g. contact suppliers / liaise with relevant bodies).
- To perform any duties assigned from time to time by superior e.g. Queries, Projects, Audit support
- Responsible for some projects and able to provide input to more complex projects.

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Degree holder in Food Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Regulatory, QA or RD&A within Food Industry or Flavour House.
- Executes against functional initiatives.
- Developing regulatory knowledge associated with food industry.
- Greatly beneficial if one possesses the ability to read and write in Chinese, especially for interpreting regulations from China and Taiwan.
