**Management and Administrative Functions**
- Management and review of the hospital facilities and provide proposal(s) for development/enhancement/maintenance work.
- Establish and implement short
- and long-term maintenance plan/ programs to ensure building compound, fixtures, equipment, parking and loading bays etc., are maintained and perform at optimum levels.
- Establish and implement safety, accident prevention and high standards of health are maintained throughout the hospital facilities and grounds.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance activities and energy conservation programme, making recommendations for efficiency and reduction in the costs of operating facilities.
- Build, manage and maintain a lean and efficient team structure making sure that all buildings services are operational and in compliance to health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Develop, Implement and direct all emergency programmes.
**Supervision, Inspection and Daily Routine as Per Policies, Procedures and SOPs.**
- Ensure Standard Operating Procedure in compliance with regulations and safety standards are implemented at all times.
- Conduct regular/ periodic inspection of all facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure that high standard of cleanliness, attractiveness and safety are maintained.
- Carry out inspection of hospital fixtures and fittings, mechanical, electrical to ensure it is in safe condition and take remedial action in the event of any unsafe situations arises.
- Maintain effective communication with hospital management and to seek advice and approval for the improvement of the facilities, safety and health.
- Approve the contractor’s scope of work and specification performing the maintenance and repair services. Supervise and inspect the work performed and recommend payment upon satisfactory completion of the work.

- To undertake any other duties as delegated by the immediate superior.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to healthcare facility management.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
