Painter (Internship)

**Responsibilities**:
Perform vehicle spray painting on timely and good quality workmanship.
- Prepping vehicle and remove components for spray painting.
- Removes and clean rusts, grease and dirt from work surface.
- Masks and protects the component that are not to be painted or coated.
- Fills cavities and dents with putty to attained smooth surface.
- Paints surface using sprayer or brush as appropriate.
- Heats and sprays wax onto products (if applicable).

Inspects painted units for quality of workmanship, noting any runs, sags and unpainted areas.

Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.

Remove and assemble the vehicle components according to service manual specifications.

Mixes paint according to specifications. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce desired color.

Operating all equipment such as paint booth and mobile lifter properly and safely in the manner recommended by manufacturer operating manual.

Wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.

Understands, safe-keeps and dispose the paints, thinners, and other hazardous materials as per laws and regulations such as scheduled waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc. Reports any deviations to management.

Maintains and upkeeps all tools & equipment, paint booth & mobile lifter clean and ensure in a proper operating conditions.

Keeps work area clean and safe.

Other tasks as assigned by superior from time to time.

**Requirements**:
Preferably with SKM Certificate/ MLVK in Automotive Engineering or equivalent.

Pay: RM700.00 - RM850.00 per month
