Expeditor

Present on site for each package.
- Conduct and monitor materials delivery by telephone calls, telexes facsimile and visits to the vendor's premises, frequency of which shall be dependent on PURCHASE ORDER delivery date.
- In conjunctions with the vendor, to review and familiarize the delivery schedule and any other relevant documents to enable him to efficiently monitor the delivery of the materials and/or equipment and thereby ensure vendors compliance to timely delivery and meet company's Operating Plant Unit (OPU) requirement.
- Recommend to company representatives, from time to time and promptly report of any anticipated delays or backlogs from any reasons whatsoever and recommend appropriate remedial actions thereto.
- Recommend to company representatives on procedural ideas in respect of the performance of the expediting service with a view to maximize its effectiveness.
- Plan and perform materials delivery execution through monitoring, communicating and issuance of reminders to company vendors/ sub-vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and no disruption to operations.
- Prepare, verify and upload required documents in designated system (e.g. not limited to customs documents, AWB/BL and etc.)
- Ensure delivery of materials are complete with documents (not limited to customs clearance documents (K1/k8 & etc.), invoice and packing list, safety data sheet (SDS) & etc.
- Coordinate, analyze and resolve Criticism of Materials (COM) by communicating and engaging with company's vendors/ sub-vendors, end users and buyers for COMs issued for off-spec, damaged or shortage of materials delivered to ensure correct materials (in terms of quality and quantity) are delivered as specified in the order.
- To support Freight Executive in handling freight forwarding activities such as import, export and customs clearance.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum diploma holder or equivalent.
- At least 3 years experience in supervisor level (advantage if exposure to the logistics and freight forwarding environment.
- Professional qualification in Freight Forwarding or Logistics will be an added advantage.
