Material Planner

Manage the flow of finished goods materials within the market organizations ensuring there is an optimization of inventory and service levels at all locations in line with the following company objectives:
- Purchasing for business unit / trade basket portfolio(s)
- Manage product availability to achieve corporate service levels
- Manage inventory levels to achieve working capital targets
- Support Regional Demand Planning team and sales channels in providing world class customer service

**Demand Planning**
- Consolidate market intel in collaboration with sales and marketing teams and feedback to Hub MM
- Follow up on BU SFI meetings, minutes and actions in the Market Organization
- Ensure forecasting is aligned, at Business Unit (BU) and Market Organization level, with Annual Sales Plan.
- Lead monthly Sales/Forecast/Inventory meetings with Executive Management Team
- Minimize obsolescence in central warehouse through tight monitoring and communication across the business. Primary driver of marketing efforts to reduce obsolescence (pre-warning, sell-offs, Sku rationalization)
- MO Demand Single point of contact for local enquiries

**Network and Supply Planning**
- Responsible for inventory management across the Market Organization network: Hilti Stores and Van Stock
- Master data and overall management of SAP, APO and other related systems for local items or combos
- Master data and overall management of SAP, APO and other related systems for all items in HS and VS locations
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Channels to maintain the HS and VS product baskets and stock holding as per local policies
- Plan, forecast & release of purchasing orders for all network, van stock, and local items (incl. local combos)
- Support Warehouse Team with expiry date reporting and follow up activities
- Minimize obsolescence in the network and vans through tight monitoring and communication across the business. Primary driver of marketing efforts to reduce obsolescence (pre-warning, sell-offs, Sku rationalization, van stock rotation)
- MO Supply Single point of contact for local enquiries
- Support inventory shortages by reporting Out of stock and Potential out of stock to the sales and marketing teams, ensuring that appropriate action is taken with the Hub with minimum cost & mínimal impact to customers
- Responsible for the backorder management process in collaboration with Customer service Contribute to maintain Air-Freight costs to budget, by collaborating with Demand planner**Others**
- On-time / accurate support of INP launches and distribution across the Hilti Network
- Contribute to maintain Air-Freight costs to budget, by collaborating with Hub MM
- Monitoring and contribution of KPI, system alerts and reporting to senior management
- Support definition and execution of continuous improvement projects
- Support team members with other duties from time to time as may be required (projects, testing, internal controls, Hub / Global initiatives)

- 2-5 years Demand/Supply Planning experience required
- University Bachelor degree (planning, operations, logistics, or supply chain related field)
- Proficient user of SAP R3 - DRP, Inventory Modules & Data Management
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel with experience in building advanced reports
- Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and can do attitude
- Demonstrated assertive execution and follow-up skills
- Strong interpersonal relationship, influencing & negotiation skills
- Ability to prioritize & execute multiple tasks to achieve daily operational deadlines
- Ability to work with others, cross-functionally and cross-culturally, with a customer mindset

**Preferred**
- Experience using SAP APO/JDA - forecasting & purchasing modules
- APICS Certification (CPIM module)
- Experience using SAP BI reporting tools, specifically the use of BW Analyser and BW workbooks
- LEAN Certification
