**Responsibilities**:
(a) Business and Financial Target - As team leader responsible to develop and increase the Islamic corporate banking businesses by providing support to business units and driving / leading the Shariah Advisory Business towards promoting the Bank's Islamic finance products and services to potential and existing clients.

(b) Product Management and Deal Execution - Undertake or lead process enhancement to Bank's P&P, regulatory and Shariah requirements. Lead and implement deal execution with team members/business lines in relation to Islamic business / deals as assigned by the Head of Department to ensure in line with internal policies, Shariah and regulatory requirements.

**(i) Product Structuring Role / Shariah Advisory Business**
- Primary role in structuring Islamic finance products to suit with the customer requirements through documentation/term sheet review working with business lines. Lead the Shariah Advisory services to Customers through preparation of proposals with business lines and take the lead to obtain Shariah endorsement.

**(ii) Sukuk Business Role**

Working with business units local/global affiliates to develop Sukuk advisory business framework via Malaysian entity. This includes attending meetings with potential clients together with the business units in identifying potential clients for Sukuk business.

**Requirements**:

- Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance/Islamic Banking or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution.
- Additional professional certification / post-graduate related to Islamic Finance will be an added advantage.
- Good command in English both in written and
- Good understanding of Shariah requirements/applied Shariah contracts.
- Collaborative / flexible style to enable working with internal and external parties.
- Ability to manage entire operational cycle for Islamic Banking products and understanding of Islamic Banking legal documentation (Sukuk and Swap) will be added advantage.
