Demand Planner

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to gather market intelligence, customer insights, and new product launch plans to incorporate into demand forecasts.
- Monitor and analyze demand patterns, customer buying behavior, and seasonal trends to identify demand forecast deviations and adjust future forecasts accordingly.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to meet forecasted demand while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
- Conduct regular demand planning meetings with cross-functional teams to align on forecast accuracy, production capacity, and inventory optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to analyze and validate sales forecasts, promotional plans, and new product introductions for accurate demand planning.
- Track and report key demand planning metrics, such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and service level performance, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Identify and communicate potential demand risks and opportunities to stakeholders, such as supply constraints, market changes, or product availability issues.
- Continuously improve demand planning processes, tools, and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and bakery industry developments to anticipate and respond to changing customer demands.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Additional certifications or qualifications in supply chain or demand planning are a plus.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Demand Planner or in a similar role, preferably within the bakery industry or food manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of demand forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis techniques, and inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and tools, as well as advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and demand planning modules, preferably with experience in implementing or working with such systems.
- Familiarity with bakery products, production processes, and market dynamics in Malaysia will be an advantage.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, displaying flexibility and resilience.

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
