A Gallery Assistant at an Interior Styling Furniture Gallery plays an interesting role in ensuring the smooth and visually appealing operation of the gallery. This position requires a creative and customer-focused individual who can provide exceptional support to customers, maintain the gallery's aesthetics, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Assistance**:

- Greet and assist gallery visitors, providing information about the furniture pieces, interior styling ideas, and gallery services.
- Address customer inquiries, provide product knowledge, and offer recommendations to meet their needs.
- Assist customers in selecting furniture and decor items that align with their preferences and interior design concepts.

**Visual Merchandising**:

- Maintain the gallery's visual appeal by arranging furniture and decor displays to create visually engaging vignettes.
- Update product displays to showcase new arrivals and highlight seasonal trends.
- Ensure that the gallery is organized, clean, and well-lit to enhance the overall shopping experience.

**Inventory Management**:

- Assist in managing inventory, including tracking stock levels, restocking items, and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Work with the inventory team to update product availability and pricing information.

Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to the management.

**Sales Support**:

- Support the sales team in processing customer transactions, including taking orders, handling payments, and issuing receipts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and offer exceptional customer service.
- Follow up with potential customers and assist in closing sales.

**Gallery Events and Promotions**:

- Assist in the planning and execution of gallery events, such as product launches, exhibitions, and sales promotions.
- Participate in marketing efforts by promoting gallery events, products, and services through various channels, including social media.

**Product Knowledge**:

- Stay updated on the features, benefits, and design aspects of the furniture and decor items available in the gallery.
- Be knowledgeable about the latest interior design trends and styles to provide informed recommendations to customers.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in interior design, visual merchandising, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or interior design is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Creative flair and an eye for interior design and aesthetics.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Basic computer skills for processing sales and maintaining inventory records.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently as needed.

The Gallery Assistant for an Interior Styling Furniture Gallery is an integral part of the gallery's success, contributing to its visual appeal and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a creative and customer-oriented environment, helping customers find furniture and decor that transform their living spaces.

Working hours : 10am-9pm, Monday to Sunday ( 2 off day on Weekday)

Job Scope: Follow up with clients or designer, achieve target set by the company

Roadshow by the company must participate.

No off day, OT and holiday replacement (working hour follow by organiser).

Products Training

Using Excel and Powerpoint is a plus

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
