Job Overview

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to join our team at Prima Jaya Engineering Sdn Bhd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare full sets of financial statements and monthly management reports to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Audit and Compliance: Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and other statutory bodies to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Accounting Function Management: Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Support to Accountant: Assist the Accountant in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Possess a Professional Certificate, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Fast worker, dynamic, self-motivated, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; fluent in English (both verbal & written).
  • Independence and Supervision: Work independently with minimum supervision, liaising with all levels of management as required.
  • Time Management and Pressure Handling: Work under pressure and extra hours when required, demonstrating a committed sense of urgency and responsibility.
  • Literacy in Accounting Software: Literate in accounting software and other computer applications.
  • Geographic Location: Willingness to work in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
