Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to lead our accounting department in Melaka. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and making strategic decisions to drive business growth.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in finance and accounting, with at least 8 years of experience in a managerial role. You will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the accounting department in Melaka, overseeing daily operations and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Liaise with auditors on auditing-related issues and respond to any queries or requests.
  • Coordinate with business units for annual budget preparation and update of financial forecasts.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Possess a Professional Certificate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other equivalent studies.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
