We seek a highly skilled Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to lead our team in designing and delivering high-quality engineering projects for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design Basis, Code & Standard
    • Establish and implement design basis, codes, and standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement design concepts.
    • Apply expertise in API/ISO/ASME design codes to optimize equipment performance.
    • Review and analyze client specifications to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
  • Knowledge of Rotating Equipment
    • Design and select rotating equipment for various process applications, considering factors such as efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
    • Develop and maintain expertise in rotating equipment including pumps, turbines, compressors, and gearboxes.
    • Perform risk assessments and predictive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime.
    • Liaise with vendors to discuss equipment options, limitations, and deviations.
  • Material Selection
    • Select and specify materials for rotating equipment based on operational conditions, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and equipment.
    • Evaluate material alternatives to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Working Deliverables
    • Develop and deliver calculation spreadsheets, technical data sheets, job specifications, and material requisitions.
    • Prepare technical clarification documents and bid evaluations.
    • Provide input to other disciplines' deliverables, such as layout and utility requirements.
    • Ensure accurate weight data and foundation loading inputs.
  • Vendor Data Review (VDR)
    • Conduct expert reviews of vendor data to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
    • Interface with other disciplines to resolve conflicts and optimize project progress.
    • Plan and conduct VDR meetings with vendors to expedite project timelines.
  • Fabrication Knowledge
    • Understand fabrication processes, critical elements, and critical paths to ensure efficient delivery of equipment.
    • Anticipate and mitigate potential fabrication-related delays.
  • Perform as Lead Engineer Role
    • Lead project teams to achieve successful project delivery and meet customer expectations.
    • Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
    • Coordinate resource planning and execution to meet project objectives.
  • Technical Audits
    • Conduct technical audits to evaluate project compliance with codes and standards.
    • Investigate and resolve quality complaints and incidents.
  • Others
    • Demonstrate strong professional judgment and responsiveness in executing static equipment deliverables.
    • Meet project requirements while maintaining good working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
    • Foster a culture of quality assurance and health, safety, and environment (HSE) awareness within the team.

About You

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E. Hons)
  • Minimum 7 years of engineering design experiences in various rotating equipment for onshore/offshore application
  • Prior experience in Green Hydrogen, Electrolyzer, and Carbon Capture Storage Projects is preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
