Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing the procurement process from start to finish, including:

Procurement & Purchasing:

  • Reviewing and validating purchase requisitions (PRs).
  • Sourcing high-quality materials and products at competitive prices.
  • Generating purchase orders (PO) for both direct and indirect materials.

  • Auditing inventory regularly to ensure accuracy.
  • Implementing best practices for inventory control and optimization.
  • Reviewing inventory consumption accuracy and verifying stock balance.
  • Troubleshooting invoice/good receipts entry discrepancies for the accounts payable team.
  • Maintaining procurement records, vendor agreements, and transaction documentation.

Compliance, Reporting & Process Optimization:

  • Ensuring all procurement activities comply with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Identifying opportunities to automate or optimize and improve key procurement processes.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reports related to purchasing and inventory.
  • Preparing and generating procurement reports.
  • Acting as a company liaison with vendors, assisting in selection and qualification.
  • Evaluating and analyzing vendor performance to ensure adherence to contract terms with focus on quality, price, and delivery timelines.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
  • Negotiating terms with vendors to support cost-effective procurement.
  • Updating lead times, pricing changes, delivery dates, and other PO data in procurement systems.
