Jabil seeks an experienced Workcell Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement. This individual will be responsible for managing a team, developing and implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Leadership And Management: Develop and execute plans to improve operational efficiency, coach and mentor team members, and provide ongoing feedback to Functional Managers.
  • Performance Management: Establish clear goals and objectives, monitor progress, and drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to stakeholders, communicate effectively with team members, and act as a communication link between the Business Unit and Operations Unit.

Functional Management Responsibilities

">

The Workcell Manager will define, develop, and implement a customer/workcell strategy that aligns with Jabil's campus strategic directions. This includes identifying resource requirements, communicating resource requirements to Function Managers, and developing an understanding of the Functional business strategies as they pertain to the workcell/customer.

Technical Management Responsibilities

">

This individual will drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management, assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant, and offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement.

Requirements

">

A Bachelor's degree is preferred, and five years of experience, one year in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The candidate should have advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages, and ability to calculate figures and amounts.
