Job Description:
As a key member of the Liberty Mutual Group, we are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity leader to take on the role of Regional CISO for our APAC region. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to shaping the future of cybersecurity in Asia Pacific.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our cybersecurity efforts in the region, developing and executing strategic plans to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Risk and Compliance, to identify synergies and prioritize remediation efforts based on severity and impact. Your expertise will also be sought by senior management and the board to provide guidance on threat landscape and tactical controls to achieve success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute regional security goals and roadmap that aligns to global policies and standards.
  • Work with regional Risk and Compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across the region.
  • Prioritize and execute remediation effort based on severity and impact of gaps identified.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, including Global Risk Solutions (GRS) BISO team, Global Cyber Security (GCS) teams, and other departments.
  • Empower country-level security leadership and encourage open communication.
  • Lead or play a key role in major incidents, disaster recovery, and business continuity events.

Requirements:
This is a senior leadership position that requires a strong technical background, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to make quick decisions in complex situations. The ideal candidate will have at least 10-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with 5-8 years of technical hands-on experience and 3-5 years of management experience.
