About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consulting Engineer - SAP Technical Solutions Expert to join our team at NextLabs. As a key member of our SAP technical consulting team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex solutions for our strategic customers using the NextLabs Data-centric Security suite of products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to understand their information security and compliance needs on SAP, and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  2. Technical Expertise: Provide in-depth technical knowledge and development expertise during pilot, proof of concept stage, or enterprise-wide deployment of NextLabs software.
  3. Integration and Architecture: Lead the integration effort and own the system and data integration architecture for SAP, ensuring seamless integration with NextLabs products.
  4. Implementation and Configuration: Install and configure NextLabs software at client premises, and develop, configure, and implement solutions as per NextLabs standards.
  5. Research and Development: Research and implement new functionality of NextLabs SAP Data Security Product Suite for customer implementations.
  6. Design and Development: Design specifications for new custom solutions based on customer requirements, and develop unit test plans and create test cases based on customer landscapes.
  7. Training and Documentation: Train customers to instrument policies and securing SAP data at various data access points and tools with NextLabs solution functionality, and help with creating training and other end-user documentation.
  8. Compatibility and Client Satisfaction: Coordinate with other technical teams to ensure compatibility with other NextLabs components that interface with NextLabs SAP Data Security Product Suite, and ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
  9. Complex Problem-Solving: Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Requirements
  1. Education: BS Degree in computer science or engineering or higher.
  2. Experience: 5 years of relevant experience.
  3. SAP Knowledge: Good understanding of SAP best practices.
  4. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with RICEFW development and ABAP New syntax, as well as solid experience in ABAP development with good understanding of SAP modules such as Finance, MM, PP, QM, FI, and SD.
  5. Development Experience: Extensive development experience using ABAP objects, CDS Views, HANA SQL Programming, SAP Fiori Developments, OData developments, and demonstrated knowledge of SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) based design & development and ABAP Restful Programming Model.
  6. Additional Requirements: Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA is a huge plus, as well as experience with Java-based development and Data Masking, Data Anonymization techniques.
