About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Group Tax team as a Global Tax Compliance Expert. You will work closely with the Internal Finance team to ensure that tax policies and processes are followed, identify tax risks (and opportunities) and monitor changes in tax laws.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting with CIT, indirect tax, WHT, TP and other (local) tax compliance and reporting obligations.
  2. Supporting with the tax aspects of implementing a new ERP system.
  3. Supporting with quarterly tax provisioning process and annual return-to-provision calculation.
  4. Supporting with estimating the tax payments in the cash flow forecast.
  5. Ensuring that tax policies are followed, and standard tax procedures are implemented.
  6. Identifying tax risks (and opportunities), and supporting with mitigating these risks.
  7. Supporting with tax audits or enquiries from local tax authorities.
  8. Monitoring changes in laws and regulations, and ensuring that relevant changes are applied properly.

You'll be responsible for keeping entities in Asia compliant with local tax law and ensuring that tax policies and processes are followed.

We're looking for someone with a Master or Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Tax and at least 3 years of experience with 1 year of experience in tax advisory or compliance. You should have strong numerical and analytical skills, knowledge of (tax) accounting principles, financial systems, and excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
