The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research related to accounting & auditing standards, assisting in performing quality assurance review on audit engagement files, and preparing and updating audit working paper templates & checklists.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Conduct research on accounting & auditing standards to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Assist in reviewing audit engagement files to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and update audit working paper templates & checklists to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Train junior auditors on basic working paper presentation and auditing standards.
Requirements:
">- Possess a professional qualification and a Degree in Accountancy.
- Minimum 4 years of external audit experience; candidates with experience in major or medium-sized auditing firms are highly valued.
- Good knowledge in Companies Act, Accounting and Auditing Standards.
- Possess proficiency in English.
- Motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Be able to prioritize activities, manage timelines, and deal effectively with pressure.
- Computer literate, well-versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other day-to-day office applications.
