We are seeking a highly skilled Translation Specialist to join our team at Clarivate Analytics. As a Translation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of patent content translated from Korean into English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and edit translations from suppliers to ensure high-quality output
  • Assess machine translation outputs and provide feedback to improve quality
  • Manage and maintain translation linguistic assets, including glossaries and translation memories
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to reduce customer complaints and improve efficiency
  • Participate in quality and project-related initiatives to drive continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Native-level Korean language skills and professional working proficiency in English
  • University degree in translation or language-related areas, and technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-driven approach and good business awareness
  • Detail-oriented, thorough, accurate, and able to meet deadlines
  • Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a linguist using CAT tools
  • Prior experience in quality control
  • Intellectual Property experience
