Job Description

As an IR Specialist at UEM Sunrise Berhad, you will play a critical role in promoting positive employer-employee relationships, resolving workplace disputes, and ensuring compliance with Employment Legislation and company-wide IR initiatives.

Your key responsibilities will include providing legal guidance and sharing best practices for resolving workplace disputes, addressing and resolving workplace grievances, investigating cases, conducting Domestic Inquiries, preparing management papers, drafting official correspondence, overseeing the Performance Improvement Plan process, reviewing and updating IR-related policies, and ensuring compliance with Employment Legislation and company-wide IR initiatives.

To achieve these goals, you will work closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO), Centers of Excellence (COEs), and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as IR consultants, Labour Office, Industrial Relations Department, networking groups, and HR associations.

In addition to your technical skills and experience, you should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Malay, proficiency in investigation techniques, and experience in analyzing case statistics for dashboards.
