SAP FICO Specialist (contract/perm)Job Description:

This position is open to local Malaysians and expats holding PRs.

We are hiring a seasoned SAP FICO Specialist for a leading global consulting firm based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements.
  • Advise clients on industry/cross-industry best practices.
  • Design target state SAP solutions for clients.
  • Influence clients' thinking in adopting leading/standard practices while developing target state.
  • Analyze application landscape to design interfaces to SAP solution.
  • Perform SAP configuration and tests.
  • Develop specifications for development of forms/reports/interfaces.
  • Lead the consultant and client teams through the implementation cycle including planning and execution of testing, migration, and cutover.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience with end-to-end full life cycle implementations of SAP FICO modules and have done any configuration/support.
  • Proven skills in delivering SAP projects.
  • Good understanding of SAP implementation methodology.
  • Ability to analyze business processes, complete complex business design for gap/interfaces, and configure system to user requirements.
  • SAP certification preferred.
  • Strong interest in learning new things.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Drive, tenacity, client-focused, and results-oriented.
  • Good communication and presentation skills in English.
