Job Description

This role involves operating and overseeing internal and vendor systems to create and maintain accurate investment product databases, investment pricing and valuation, corporate action processing, and investment reporting.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, exchange-traded, and OTC products, as well as investment pricing and valuation principles.

An ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing the work of an associate, ensuring tasks are completed, and investigating any issues that may arise. As a team lead, they will own day-to-day operations and provide guidance to junior team members.

  • Maintain and quality-control global reference databases for various financial products, including exchange-traded, broker-dealer platform, and OTC derivatives.
  • Evaluate and ensure accurate and timely pricing and valuation, perform price validation, and interact with market data vendors such as Bloomberg, ICE, Markit, and Refinitiv.
  • Process corporate actions at global portfolios, such as dividend, split, merger/acquisition, call/put, etc., and asset servicing, drawdown, payback, rate reset, etc.
  • Responsible for set-up, maintenance, and monitoring of automated processes such as trade capture, investment pricing, and OTC derivatives evaluation.
  • Respond promptly to enquiries related to financial instruments, corporate actions, pricing, and valuation, as well as investment reporting.
