DHL Supply Chain is seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal control system.

About the Role:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust control framework that mitigates risks and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the internal control framework, including processes and procedures related to control and risk mitigation.
  • Support the localization of controls to ensure alignment with exception processes and optimize control effectiveness.
  • Perform self-assessments of controls through evidence testing, adhering to Company's ICS policy, procedures, and timelines.
  • Work closely with control executives to implement remediation actions, monitor their execution, reassess controls, and close remediation actions in a timely manner.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and implement a control framework that meets the needs of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for internal control.
  • Conduct regular reviews of the control framework to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on internal control principles and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience/qualification; professional certification in Accounting/Finance is an advantage.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in areas such as internal control, risk management, auditing, accounting, or compliance.
  • Good understanding of internal control principles, conducting risk assessments, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting processes, compliance, and reporting requirements.
