We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our crisis intervention services team. As a crisis team nurse, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide psychiatric and mental health services to individuals in need.
This nursing position requires responsible professional work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the care and treatment of individuals align with accepted professional, legal, and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Nursing triage and assessment to identify individual needs
- Medication administration and monitoring to ensure safe and effective care
- Ongoing assessments to determine when hospitalization is required
- Laboratory collections and interpretation of lab results to inform care decisions
- Individual education on medications, health, mental illness, and substance use to empower individuals in their recovery
You will be working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and the Program Director, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas, and at least 1 year of recent nursing experience.
