The Job

You will lead the QA practice in developing and implementing testing strategies and plans as a QA Lead at GBG. You will design, execute, and maintain both manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing based on business requirements.

Your role will ensure that the functionality of our in-house developed systems meets high-quality standards expected by the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement testing strategies and plans.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases.
  • Mentor and train QA team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Create, maintain, deliver, and document manual and automated test suites.
  • Review test acceptance criteria for all tasks during sprint planning/grooming.
  • Reduce risk through clear analysis of designs & stories, tailored reporting and clear line management and stakeholder escalation.
  • Identify and manage defects within the project to prevent customer-facing issues.
Requirements
  • Good understanding of Test Analysis and acceptance criteria process.
  • Understanding of TDD or BDD framework (Gherkin language).
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium/Cucumber/Serenity etc.
  • Experience with functional tests and integration tests.
  • Experience with setting up the test automation framework would be an advantage.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Team City, Azure DevOps.
  • Hands-on experience with Non-functional testing such as Performance, Security etc., would be an advantage.
