Job Summary

The Financial Analysis Specialist will be responsible for performing all GL tasks and ensuring timely completion of deadlines and KPIs outlined in the Service Partnership Agreement. This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the full spectrum of GL processes and procedures as specified under the Service Partnership Agreement.
  • Ensure timely completion of month/quarter/year-end closing activities given tight deadlines.
  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and analysis.
  • Perform inter-company reconciliations, billings, and netting payments.
  • Coordinate pre/post closing calls between the GBS Team and Country Finance to resolve variances and issues.
  • Assist Country Finance in providing data for external statutory audits and tax.
  • Maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Well-versed in computer applications such as MS Office Applications.
  • Proficiency in accounting software - Oracle and One Stream is an added advantage.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with awareness of cross-cultural issues.
  • Mature and able to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision.
  • Highly independent with a sense of urgency, responsibility, result-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines.
