About the Role
Celestica is seeking an experienced Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development and sourcing of manufacturing equipment to support operational goals. This includes designing and developing equipment, qualifying it, deploying it to manufacturing, improving its performance, and supporting programs to optimize efficiencies while maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new standard automation solutions and/or 'off the shelf' equipment.
  • Support software and hardware upgrades and qualification of equipment.
  • Analyze Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and other available data to improve hardware and software improvements of both Celestica-led developments and off-the-shelf equipment.
  • Program, qualify, deploy, optimize, and maintain equipment in manufacturing operations.
  • Execute maintenance activities under supervision.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Entry-level to 1 year of experience.
