Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team culture.
• Technical Leadership: Lead & build distributed microservices, design, build and maintain advanced applications services, define and execute the engineering roadmap, and ensure system scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to align technical efforts with business objectives, communicate project progress, technical challenges, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain best practices in software development, testing, and deployment, ensure that the team can write testable, maintainable code for robustness and reliability, monitor and improve system performance and uptime, and lead the team to work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and financial systems, advocate for and implement innovative technologies and tools to enhance engineering productivity.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related disciplines
• 5+ years of work experience on large-scale and high-traffic projects in Backend function
• At least 2 years of hands-on technical leadership and people management, which help grow the team locally, and able to manage an organization of 20+ people
• Solid knowledge of software development life cycle
• Good stakeholder management skills; ability to interface and build relationships with stakeholders
• Good interpersonal and excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-IT-discipline and multicultural environment
• Experience with hiring and building self-sustaining teams
• Ability to coach and mentor team members in their professional development
• Extensive programming experience in Backend based technologies. Go(lang) is preferable.
• A good understanding of the clean architecture principles
• Familiarity with any cloud deployment service, ideally with Alicloud
