Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lift Engineer to join our team in Schindler Malaysia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and commissioning of lifts and escalators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project quality reports and measurement data to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Control schedules and implement quality installation leading to handover to customers.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and resources to minimize wastages and optimize productivity.
  • Drive quality installation and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Support the Project Manager on assignments, letters, and actions as required.
  • Cordinate on site activities with clients, management, consultants, third-party suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Attend required meetings and contribute to the development of effective solutions.
TREX/FF+ Implementations
  • Comply fully with TREX/FF+ Process Implementations, including maintaining all documents in the prescribed form for audit purposes.
Contract and Commercial Management
  • Support the Project Manager on site cost control and negotiate on claims and Variation Orders.
Requirements
  • Minimum Degree in Engineering-related field.
  • Working experience of 3 years in lift and escalator industry or Construction industry.
  • Alternatively, candidates with more than 5 years project management experience can be considered.
