Job Summary

Phillip Capital Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting and finance professional to lead our fund accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and guidance to our team, ensuring the timely computation of daily Net Asset Value (NAV) of unit trust funds and wholesale funds.

About the Role

The Fund Accounting Team Lead will be responsible for reviewing the full set of accounts for unit trust funds and wholesale funds, preparing management reports, financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts, and submitting all finance and accounting reports periodically to Senior Management/BOD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Fund Accounting team in achieving high-quality deliverables;
  • Review and ensure the accuracy of daily NAV computations for unit trust funds and wholesale funds;
  • Responsible for reviewing the full set of accounts for unit trust funds and wholesale funds;
  • Prepare management reports, financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts for these funds;
  • Submit all finance and accounting reports periodically to Senior Management/BOD;
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess a degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics with full/partial ACCA or other relevant qualification. A minimum of 2 years of working experience at managerial level is required. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, possess good knowledge of MRFS and tax, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Malaysian citizenship or relevant residence status is a must.
