Job Description

Digitalization will be a true part of BASF's DNA, creating new exciting customer experiences and business growth as well as driving efficiencies in processes.

We are looking for an expert in supply chain planning environment with a focus on Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) to drive forward the digital transformation of BASF.

The successful candidate will design, implement, and support PP/DS on S/4 HANA, convert the APO PP/DS customer template into an S/4 greenfield system, and support and adjust the S/4 planning landscape after go-live over the next years.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure readiness for interface with BW and MABAS, and integration between current Supply Chain Demand Planning Solution with S/4 HANA.
  • Define PP/DS related data structure, process, and interface from existing systems to future systems, including ECC to S/4 HANA system.
  • Develop solutions in case existing interfaces are not working after S/4 HANA is live.
  • Conduct testing in DEV & ACC environments, provide cutover support for integration from OMP to S4 HANA, and offer go-live support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • At least 5-year experience in supply chain planning environment with a focus on PP/DS.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in a self-organized way, quickly build up knowledge on BASF specific supply chain planning processes.
