Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our Developer Experience team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend systems that power our cutting-edge applications.

The critical tasks you will perform include building foundational tools that enable product engineers to work efficiently, designing and implementing efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend services using Go programming language, optimizing application performance and improving system efficiency, participating in architectural discussions, conducting code reviews, and troubleshooting complex software issues in production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
  2. You have solid proficiency in Go programming language.
  3. You have experience with computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  4. You have comprehensible experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
  5. You have experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC APIs, and API design principles.
  6. You have familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  7. You have experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
