The Director of Human Resources will play a key role in driving business success by leading the Human Resources function at the Perhentian Marriott Resort & Spa. As a member of the property executive committee, this individual will contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the property's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement.
- Lead talent acquisition and development initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage employee relations, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee communications.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with Marriott International's HR policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on talent acquisition and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
