As a key member of the Shopee team, you will lead and manage a team to effectively support and implement HR initiatives across the organization. You will work closely with the regional people team to align on policies and ensure successful rollout of initiatives. Your responsibilities will include delivering HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, manpower planning, employee engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, and exit processes.
You will drive and localize initiatives from the Center of Excellence (COE) in areas such as Organisational Development, Talent Management, and more. Additionally, you will guide and support managers on employee relations, legal compliance, and adherence to local labor laws and regulations. Facilitating key discussions with business leaders and employees, you will effectively manage complex and sensitive conversations. Identifying opportunities for HR process improvements and policy enhancements, you will align with organizational needs.
Your ideal background includes a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. With minimum 8 years of broad HR experience, at least 3 years in HR COE functions (Talent Management, Organisational Development, Culture, HRBP), you will have prior experience in a fintech setting or related industry preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills are required. You must possess strong leadership and team management skills, inspiring, motivating, and developing team members.
